Green Cheek Conures are members of the Pyrrhura family and are commonly found to inhabit forests from west-central and southern Mato Grosso, Brazil, through northern and eastern Bolivia to northwestern Argentina.
The original green cheek is a emerald green coloured bird with a grey head and maroon underbelly and tail. As with most species of birds though new mutations arise and it is two of these rarer varieties that I am most interested in.
The latest additions to our aviaries have been the Pineapple, the Cinnamon and Green Cheek Conure. At this stage I have included some pictures of these gorgeous mutations but in the near future I intend to devote a whole webpage to each that will give more information and pictures, as well as keep you updated on our breeding program and what is available for sale.
